- Devil's club really does get three meters tall. Seven-foot salal remains a myth.
- Browsing Pojar-Mackinnon for two days' bus rides running can really add to the list of native plants one wants for the garden.
- If you take a Kylee up a mountain, you're just going to have to wait for her to come down slowly enough so her knees don't explode.
- Aspirin is fucking awesome.
