in which I am doomed
Jul. 26th, 2005 10:37 pmThe good news: I finally found some use for the evil sorbitol-pops.
The bad news: It's to ice my foot because I stepped on a bee. We also applied soda ash solution and ammonia, on the authority of Googling and half-recalled folk remedies. I didn't see any venom sac, so I hope the little bee might actually live. (I moved it to the flowerbed.) I've never been stung by a bee before, only yellowjackets. This all happened on approximately my tenth step in the lawn, of course. What will befall me next as I claw my way toward restored health? Any bets?
