no slug yet, amusing work conversation

Slug postponed, sadly, due to our estimated inability to (1) finish it (2) well and (3) still have any fun being in the parade afterward. Other parades are a definite possibility.

Silly shoe conversation at work:

(Co-worker A. is quite young and knowledgeable about fashion, taste, and costume. A little intimidating sometimes, actually, but fun.)

At which point I burst out laughing. Fun place to work, but I was just thinking how much less I worry about my appearance on days I don't go there. And having classes again will be very good.

It seems to me that the vast majority of us have an inner shoe slut. I certainly have discovered mine. The Trellis is pretty! But I really like the Magic (http://www.onlineshoes.com/productpage.asp?type=brand&brandid=30&brandcatid=249&gen=w&pcid=27957) for MJs. I am apparently a big fan of rather ornate shoes. (Wing tips! I want wing tips!)
