It's hot enough outside that sitting on the stairs for lunch made me sweat, to the point where I had to check inside my shirt to see what that tickle was. I think getting water blisters is reserved for sunburnt skin, but there were surprisingly large droplets sitting atop my skin and getting ready to flow.

Lassitude. Not being able to see well when I came back in.

I finished Use of Weapons just now. The last third of the book did not make me laugh. It has been dark throughout, but the funny moments stopped coming and the wrenching ones came more often toward the end. It is an excellent book. I'm sad.
