And rain coming down to melt it away, which is too bad for all the people waking up at a more reasonable hour but good for my plants.

It's exciting to have snow this early. We're definitely getting more extreme seasons than usual this year. (I realize they are still tepid because it's a maritime climate, but I'm really enjoying it.)

there was a funny commercial on the radio this morning, giving a quiz about "are you a winter person?". it included such questions as "have you ever had a runny nose turn into icicles?" and "do you wish you had windproof underwear?", which i think is totally unfair because those are just part and parcel of living here, not really of being a winter person.

(me, i'm a fall person. and it's gorgeous out today...)

Ooooh, I was wondering if that was leftover snow or frost or what. I've seen several people mention it now, and have commented in every entry... not that I'm excited (snowsnowsnowsnowsnowsnowgleeeeee!!!) or anything. ;D
