a good day for clouds
Aug. 17th, 2013 11:41 pm1. 5:30am was a little dark and boring today, but 6:30 was glorious. Layers of brighter and darker cloud of all different textures, including an unusual low bank of dusky cloud over downtown that was all shot with pink, like a friendly apocalypse for middle-grade readers.
2. Little crabapple tree has lots of new leaves, darker and glossier than the old ones, yay!
3. Driving down to my parents' place for family brunch, Mount Rainier in the clouds was like a very smooth and elegant kid in a ball pit: partially visible, tossing clouds upward, submerged, popping out suddenly.
4. Eating! Breakfast, second breakfast, and brunch today. Also, shin ramyun with sukiyaki-sliced beef and sweet potato.
5. Creepy cool honeybee behavior at the blueberry farm.
