Day Seven: Four turn-offs.

1. Well, lack of enthusiastic interest, obviously.

2. Gender essentialism. Literally nothing about sexuality is predicted by gender. Reproductive roles correlate pretty well with sex; otherwise there are so many exceptions and counfounding factors as to make anything you can say meaningless.

3. Baby talk and infantilizing. I am really enjoying Ouran High School Host Club except for the creepy thing where Tamaki wants Haruhi to act more stereotypically-Japanese-girly and refer to herself in the third person like a toddler. Other things could be creepy if I thought they were meant seriously, but that bit I cannot take as funny.

4. I have run out of inspiration, though I am sure not out of turn-offs. I texted marzipan_pig about it and got a whole list to choose from, but many are either obvious ("bad hygiene", "racist", etc.) or already covered. I am going to go with "too pressury, including too pressury to enjoy yourself" and "selfish" since those are kind of the same thing.
