bright spot

Although I am inhabiting a world of stress right now, I just want to say that having a computer that works correctly is an excellent thing. The trackpad button had been clicking 1-4 times for every time I intended, which was most annoying, and had finally gotten to the point that (1) it sometimes just didn't let up, so I was dragging everything constantly, and (2) plugging in an outboard mouse didn't even fix it because it was clickin' away regardless. The best part is that when I took it to the U Bookstore, they said Apple would cover the replacement, and it was totally free. So I have a new, eerie blue-white "top case": keyboard, power button cover, plastic plate, and trackpad assembly all replaced. Zero dollars! Win!
