third day post-fexofenadine

At 8am, I woke up and wondered if I could go back to sleep, and I wasn't sure. SO GOOD. I chose not to try, since I still have a poster to finish and print today. I'm still tired and headachey, but I am no longer crazy speedy in the morning.

The last fexofenadine was Tuesday morning, and I got by on Benadryl Wednesday. After the GP called me back I got a scrip for Xyzal, which costs a mint and I've never heard of it. This is my second day on that, and I definitely have congestion but not itching. (Of course, it's been rainy, so it's not a great comparison since the pollen count's so different.) We shall see.

What do I do with 9 months' backlog of fexo now?

Schedule of upcoming events:

• Sunday 3/14 Pi Day: plane leaves 7:45am for conference/junket in Lake Tahoe (too early for transit; stay with parents overnight?)
  
• Friday 3/19: returning 7:50pm, a bit too late to do much besides eat and collapse (but can take light rail home!)
  
• Saturday 3/20: Evening potluck at year-mate A's
  
• Wednesday 3/24: Counseling?
  
• Thursdays of April: Back to beginning ballroom dance class now that hattifattener's leg works again

science fair!

Last night I volunteered as a Real Scientist at an elementary school science fair in a nearby suburb. The organizer had written to several departments at the U and obtained graduate students, who were motivated by the prospect of official acclaim (see icon). It was incredibly fun, even though at the last minute my year-mate C couldn't make it. Some of the kids were really impressed with us, and it was great fun to ask them the next question implied by their projects.
