garden yay
Apr. 8th, 2007 10:32 pmPlanted today:
Potted Thalictrum alpinum from native plant sale last year, with happy outbound runner and new crown thereupon.
Bare-root Thalictrum actaefolium "Perfume Star" from Wayside Gardens (prices +++; niftiness, quality, promptness, and packing +++)
Bare-root Astilbe "Purple Lance" from Wayside Gardens
Found growing unexpectedly today:
Upright fuchsia broken by jerk-ass neighbors last summer
Little sword fern probably from salvage
Little oak fern (?) ditto
Hardy cyclamen
Baby dog-violet
A forgotten peony
Blooming:
Daffodils
Second shift of tulips
Second shift of hyacinths
Oddly, no Dutch irises yet
Other parts of life:
Still exist but largely saturated with stress
