spring break roundup

I found out this morning that spring break is over next Monday. Wah! I thought I had another week! The small piece of silver leaf here is that I find out about my exam schedule sooner so I can book Wiscon travel sooner, which when using frequent-flyer miles may be pretty important.

Want to help the Oglala Sioux Tribe set up a Planned Parenthood within the bounds of South Dakota but out of its jurisdiction re: stupid, judgmental abortion bans? Donation and links to other info. (I could go on about the ban at length, but I don't think I will. Others, including the extreme but accurate Molly Saves the Day have done it better.)

The fact that my financial aid for next quarter just came through during International Saiyuki Week seems like a sign. I haven't read any of the manga yet! Stupid library! Between that and The Indelible Alison Bechdel, I think maybe part of my day today includes the U Bookstore.
