BBC viewers' top 200 books

I make sort of a dismal showing, even if it's all a popularity contest and I think some of these books are crap. The bandwagon says that you should recommend me one I haven't read (not to worry, I have put much Austen on hold at the library already! how have I not read these?) and then ask me about one I did. Ones I've read are in bold behind this cut:
