school update, now with ruling!
Sep. 26th, 2003 06:05 pmSchedule is still a mess, argh. However, I found out that if I get a transcript from my old AP tests sent to SCCC, I can definitely get out of English 101 (cross available fingers about 102, please) and, well, be really really fulfilled on the other liberal arts requirements.
Will be able to see a counselor on Monday about the evil math test that was dead easy but claimed I got a 76. The first math class is Tuesday night, so I hope to have it squared away by then. If not, I still have the professor to talk to. One hopes that he will be reasonable in the face of my MHC transcript and the error-free scratch paper from the evil test.
Turned in the financial aid award letter and found out about the form that needs to be signed by instructors. (Hmm, they wanted it Tuesday and one class isn't until Tuesday night. Must go back and inquire about that.)
There may be nothing to be done about Bio 201. They always fill up really early, and it's due to a space and materials restriction in the labs, so even dogged persistence may be unable to get not-even-waitlisted me in. But I'll try, though it means an 8am class...
Ruling is here: I get to take Chem 140! The professor said I could! And the reason he said I could is that I placed into it. yeee! Just barely, but I did it, in spite of the sucky library book that explained things poorly. Filled with glee, bounce bounce.
