rjl20 pointed out that girls aren't allowed to be Seafair Pirates. (Though I wonder if maybe they are just full up and want to maintain some kind of balance. Probably giving them too much credit.)

I have pirate trousers. They are red and black stripey, and they are completely great.

Jason Webley is having a concert on the Seattle-Bainbridge ferry to which people are supposed to come dressed as pirates.

I will be out of town. (This is the "you don't get to ever see Jason Webley, ha ha" curse in action. I am narrowly missing a whole lot of other things by going on this vacation, too.) But clearly my pants need to attend this concert even if I cannot.

Please email me if you are somewhere vaguely in my size range and are willing to wear my pants to a concert. The elastic is pretty tight on me, but it would stretch even more; I would say that sizes 10-18 could wear the pants without extreme measures such as safety pins.
