Frozen puddles are preferable to mud splattering from bike tires.
Spring flowers for months.
Bizarre weeks of snow.
(The daffodils are all fine. Crocuses are less robust.)
Flocks of different kinds of ducks.
Robins, shy and quick.
Last night, iced trees.
(And horror, bafflement, gratitude, hope.)
Today, an orange butterfly.
(And sun, and sun, and sun.)
